I am Dr Sophie Bell, business owner and Senior Vet at Animal Love in Salisbury. Having worked as a vet for 10 years, and having a special interest in Emergency and Critical Care, I have come to realise if we focus on our pets preventative and well-being needs they become happier, and less likely to need medical attention.
With a genuine passion for animals I started Animal Love to help owners to help their pet.

We provide one of the only vet taught pet first-aid courses in the UK
The classroom courses are 4 hours long, include a student booklet and a professional certificate to celebrate what you have achieved. We run courses from various locations all around the country, as well as ZOOM virtual online classroom courses. You can see our booking page for information and up coming events. The courses are suitable for both pet owners and those with pet related businesses. You will gain considerable knowledge learning how to administer first aid to your pet, how to deal with emergencies, common injuries, signs and symptoms of illness, health checks and much much more. All taught to you by a veterinary surgeon.
We also provide two online courses, the Canine Health & First Aid Course and the Feline Health Well-Being & First Aid Course. Both courses are produced and presented by myself, vet Dr Sophie Bell.
Once signed up to these courses you can log in and out as many times as you want meaning you can complete them in your own time and, as access is for 6 months, there is no rush.
Videos, demonstrations and quizzes which you can pause and rewind if you need to.
The Canine course is 10 hours CPD accredited, the feline 13 hours.
Hosting a course
We can also run pet first aid courses from your home or business but require a minimum of 10 people, so if you have an ideal venue and a date in mind, get in contact.
If you host the first-aid party you will receive your course for free!
Counts as 4 hours of CPD and is certificated
